There were many curious items found in and around the vast cavern. Six dragon skeletons in total lay strewn about the dusty floor—all had one of those hideous grey cylinders screwed into their massive skulls.

Evidence that the invaders had been there was littered throughout the cave. Strange glass and metal fixtures on the smooth rock walls were spaced at regular intervals some ten metres from the floor. Work benches that had been hewn straight out of the granite walls still had some tools scattered over their dusty and cobwebbed surfaces. Sheets of metal and parts of machinery lay stacked in piles or thrown carelessly into heaps of steel and wire.
